In the season finale of Ginny & Georgia , lead actors Antonia Gentry (who plays youngster Ginny Miller) and Brianne Howey (her mother, Georgia) are observed arguing about relationships.Georgia assumes her daughter has broken up together with her boyfriend, and the conversation goes directly to feature an pointless dig at the singer's relationship existence.

Taylor Swift took to Twitter, sharing a photo of the dialogue, imploring the show to "forestall degrading hardworking women" by using the same old sexist tropes and disguising them as statements they believe are "humorous".
